Ship Breaker

I have started reading Ship Breaker by Paolo Bacigalupi.  In this book Nailer, the main character, is a ship breaker.  This means that he his paid to go on ship wrecks and look for meterials like copper.  He lives in the makeshift home on the beach near the shipwrecks.  Everyone he works with wants to find oil in the ships and become the next Lucky Strike.  To leave this wrecks to find a better place to live off the beach.  But Nailer may have found something better.  After a large storm he finds a large ship filled with silver, gold, and jewels.  He also finds someone in it.  She says she owns the ship and can give him  all the money he wants to bring her back to her family.  This is where I am reading now and I think that Nailer will find the girl's family and be able to leave the beach forever.  Thsi would eb a major desicsion for Nailer.  It would mean leaving his father and the beach that he has spent his entire life on.  It would completely change who Nailer is and what he will be.
